Superb Stay with Excellent Breakfast

I was greeted with local beer and chocolate upon my arrival. Fire lighters and stocked logs were available. A sweet treat was daily. The bed was massive. The shower had unmatched water pressure. Breakfast was flawless, with fresh fruit and warm options that varied each day.
I noticed that the walls could use a fresh coat of paint in certain areas.

The room included underfloor heating. I found it very comfortable! The room decoration featured elegant furniture plus rich furnishings. The bathroom was toasty warm and had great water pressure. I felt at home.

The location is near the center, yet it offers a quiet environment. The building overlooks the canal, so I had a special view. I found some good bars and restaurants nearby.

The staff members were super friendly and accommodating! The ladies at breakfast were attentive, even arranging an earlier breakfast for a tour. I found them informative, easy-going, and helpful. The owner was charming.

the breakfast offered a decent selection of items , which was adequate.
i was disappointed with the room i received. it was much smaller than expected , and the promised canal view was largely obstructed. the lack of space made it difficult to relax comfortably.

Disappointing experience. Basement room was not as expected.

I was really looking forward to my stay. i ended up in a basement room. It had a terrace i couldn't use. i had asked about a room with a fireplace, but i didn't get it! they said someone else booked a longer stay, but everyone checked out at the same time. the room was also dark with just one window. the bed was too soft. I had to remove the mattress topper to sleep. the breakfast was also disappointing.

The location was excellent with canal views. The staff was helpful and friendly, this I liked. Breakfast included plenty food that kept me going, this was useful after walking around. Chocolates looked in my room, it was a good touch.
I was on a lower level, this made me a bit surprised.
